Every student, every classroom, every day
At Sorrento, we pride ourselves in providing a school with a warm, safe and happy environment where students feel welcome and are cared for. Our aim is to provide opportunities that extend and challenge every student to exceed their potential and achieve personal, social and academic success.
We have a dedicated staff who strive for high standards in teaching and learning by continually improving their own professional knowledge and expertise to ensure students are provided with a high quality education. Our passion for excellence is a driving force each and every day. We focus on providing a school that is collaborative, inclusive and maintaining whole school approaches to engage and improve student learning.
Sorrento Primary School is a local intake school which means that all compulsory aged children who live in the intake area are guaranteed enrolment.
In addition to students from residences within our local catchment area, the school attracts students from surrounding suburbs.
We do consider applications for enrolment for students living outside our local intake area – acceptance of these applications is dependent upon availability.
